Editor, Practical Pre-School magazine - Bea Yeatman-Biggs
Bea Yeatman-Biggs studied at the University of East Anglia, where she gained an upper second class honours degree in American and English literature. Bea joined Mark Allen Group in September 2009 as a features writer for Wiltshire Life magazine. She subsequently became editorial assistant across the educational magazines for MA Education, before becoming the editor for Practical Pre-School magazine.
Editor, Child Care magazine - Amy Griggs
After studying English at Leeds University, Amy worked as a writer at the Press Association. Following this, she spent three years teaching English as a second language to children and adults in both Japan and Australia. Amy has been editor of Child Care since November 2006, and launched the redesign of the magazine in May 2007.
Neil Henty MSc - Associate Publisher
Neil gained an upper second class honours degree in Psychology and Communication in 1994 and completed a Masters degree in Knowledge Engineering and Artificial Intelligence a year later. Neil joined MA Education as the editor of EYE magazine in 2005, following a spell working in the news group at Reuters and as a sports journalist.
Matthew Govett - Publisher
Matthew has worked at the Mark Allen Group, specialising in education publishing, since 2002. His experience covers the education sector from birth through the early years, into primary and secondary education, which has allowed him to build up an excellent knowledge of the sector overall. With specific experience as a director of the business and as publisher of EYE (Early Years Educator) magazine and 5 to 7 Educator, Matthew's role as publisher has now extended to include additional titles in the MA Education portfolio including Practical Pre-School, Child Care and Fundraising for Schools.
